MOSS program thanks

A collective thank you to the people who made the MOSS program a success in our community! Thanks to Paul and Leslie for doing most of the organizing and collecting data and monies. Thanks to Mae and Marty for, not only providing all the great pictures (and the gold for the pirates on the last day), but also for providing billet for the two young instructors! A great success for the kids who participated, (NCSA provided funding for one child) and all over town we heard favourable comments from excited and greatful parents! One child was asked, "Would you like to do this again next year" and he replied "I would like to do this again this year!"  Which brings the question, "Do we do this again next year?" I believe the answer will be a resounding "Yes!"  Congratulations to the "MOSS Team". Commodore Dave.

BC Mobile Optimist Sailing School Aug. 1-5, 2011

From August 1 to 5, BC MOSS program ran for the first time Prince Rupert in many years.  The program took place at Diana Lake where 15 excited students took part.  For the most part, the weather cooperated for the eager sailors.  Thank you very much to Sam and Peter who made the program exciting for the students.  Great thanks to Paul and Leslie Bull for making this possible and all those who helped out during the week.
