Race Results... Wet and Woolly

Turns out we had a good window for our Sunday race.  We managed to squeak in between systems.

Thanks to Dave aboard "Albacore" for providing the Committee boat, also to Doug T, John T, Satch, Marty, Mae, Leslie, John C, and Paul B

Congratulations to Doug T on "Corissa"  on your first win of the year with a time of 1 hour - 57 minutes.  A fine effort on your first race.  Second to Marty in "Wild Abandon" with a time of 2 hours - 20 minutes.

We're officially back in racing mode on the second half of the season.  We'll be looking for the next race day to be Sunday February 6th....

Sunday 23rd... Race day - "Wet and Wooly" classic

Ok, we've had nothing but sunshine and no wind so far.   Lets dare to be different.  The weather looks to be a little wet but also little windy....

10 am at the dock for Skippers meeting..

So far we have the Commodore,  and we hope to have Credo...may the Gods of the parts department deliver on time....

Monday, January 17th....

Just arrived back from a week away....I see weather was an obstacle for yesterday.  No worries,  we'll post for Sunday January 23rd on the five day forecast....

First race of 2011, Sunday the 16th of January

Ok we have a consensus...

 

The first race of the year will be on the 16th, weather permitting.  Wild Abandon and Credo cannot participate, so we're hopeful the other boats come out. 

 

We'll go again on the 23rd, weather permitting, with a full group.

 

Normal start time.  10 am at the dock for the skippers meeting.
