Early Planning

Greetings! One of our members has suggested that we look into a group cruise to Alaska in the coming year. I would like you to gather some thoughts and destinations and look at your time schedules before the AGM. We will put this on the Agenda for the AGM and see what we can come up with. Bring your dates that you are available to cruise and the destinations that you would like to sail to in that time slot. Gather information over the Net about cruising in Alaska, for example, you must have a holding tank - or porta potty, in all Alaskan ports of call. You cannot use your ordinary head, except in offshore waters. I am sure you can find all sorts of other regulations! I will try to get in touch with some yacht clubs up there, to see if we can get a deal on moorage. Yes, the non-members that race with us should also be invited to participate. I have no time frame for the AGM at this time, however, with lots of advance warning, we should be able to have at least an idea of how many can participate and what dates that we are looking at, as well as possible destinations.
